Approximately 74 Libraries take part of the library network „BVLB NRW“. Among those are all administrative authorities of the state North Rhine-Westphalia (except the parliament).

The catalog contains records of 250.000 selected articles published predominantly in public law journals and collected editions focussing on the fields of administrative law, public administration and reform of administration.

Besides the articles, the catalogue includes the official journal of North Rhine-Westphalia (since 1947), “Ministerialblatt NRW (since 1948) and “Gemeinsames Ministerialblatt” (federal, since 1950). Therefore, the BVLB Catalogue is a comprehensive index of laws and decrees of North Rhine-Westphalia.
