The GBV is the common library network of the German States Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein, Thuringia and the Foundation of Prussian Cultural Heritage.
The Common Union Catalogue (Gemeinsamer Verbundkatalog - GVK) of the GBV comprises 22 Million titles of the 767 participating libraries, including the Berlin State Library's complete collection.
